Days From Today Calculator – Add or Subtract Days From Any Date
Count forward or back from today (or any date) by days, weeks, months or years. You instantly see the exact date, the weekday, the week number and how many business days that is.
To find a date X days from today, add X to today's date and count forward through the calendar. Today is day zero, so 30 days from Monday the 1st is Wednesday the 31st. The calculator above does this instantly and can skip weekends.
How to use the Days From Today Calculator
- Choose a start date. It is set to today, but you can pick any date.
- Type a number and pick days, weeks, months or years.
- Choose Add or Subtract to count forward (from today) or back (ago).
- Tick business days only to skip Saturdays and Sundays — handy for delivery times and payment terms.
The result updates as you type and shows the full date, the day of the week, the ISO week number and the number of calendar and business days in between.
How the date is counted
The start day is not included: the first day counted is the next day. This is the standard way to count deadlines, return windows, notice periods and "X days from now" questions. Counting 90 days from 1 January, for example, gives 1 April in a normal year.
Months are added as calendar months. If the start day does not exist in the target month, the result moves to the last day of that month — one month after 31 January is 28 February (or 29 in a leap year).
Popular day counts
| Period | Typical use |
|---|---|
| 14 days | Return windows and short trials |
| 30 days | Payment terms, notice periods, money-back guarantees |
| 45 and 60 days | Invoices, visa and permit deadlines |
| 90 days | Probation periods, short-stay visas, warranty checks |
| 180 days | Half-year reviews and residency counts |
Business days vs calendar days
Calendar days include every day of the week. Business days only include Monday to Friday. Ten business days from a Monday ends on the Friday of the following week, while ten calendar days ends on the Thursday. Public holidays are different in every country, so subtract them yourself if they fall inside your period.

Frequently asked questions
What date is 90 days from today?
Open the calculator above — it is already set to 30 days; change the number to 90 and the exact date appears instantly. You can also use our dedicated 90 days from today page.
Does the calculator count today?
No. Today is day zero and the count starts tomorrow, which is how deadlines and contract periods are normally counted.
Can I count back to find a date in the past?
Yes. Choose Subtract to see the date X days, weeks or months ago.
How do I skip weekends?
Tick "Count business days only". The calculator then counts Monday to Friday and skips Saturdays and Sundays.
