CPS Test – Check Your Clicks Per Second
Click the big button as fast as you can. The test measures your clicks per second (CPS) in real time and saves your best score on this device.
Most people click 6 to 7 times per second. Gamers using jitter or butterfly clicking often reach 10 to 14 CPS. Your score is the number of clicks divided by the test time.
How to use the CPS Test
- Choose a test length: 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
- Click (or tap) the big button — the timer starts on your first click.
- Keep clicking until the time runs out and read your CPS score.
You can also press the Space or Enter key on the button to test your keyboard speed.
What is a good CPS?
| CPS | Level |
|---|---|
| Under 5 | Casual |
| 5 – 7 | Average |
| 7 – 10 | Fast |
| 10 – 14 | Very fast (jitter / butterfly) |
| 14+ | Pro level |
How to click faster
- Jitter clicking: tense your forearm so your finger vibrates on the button.
- Butterfly clicking: alternate two fingers on the same button.
- Drag clicking: drag your finger across a textured mouse button.
Rest between attempts — tired muscles give lower scores and fast clicking for long periods can strain your wrist.
